Kase KW Revolution Professional ND Kit features ND8, ND64, ND1000 and CPL magnetic filters, part of Kase's color-coded KW Revolution filter system.Filters are designed with color-coded filter frames for easy identification and swapping.ND8 is color coded blue, ND64 is color coded yellow, ND1000 is color coded red and CPL is color coded silver.The kit also includes adapter rings, a filter case, and a front lens cap.The KW Revolution system is based on Kase's previous Wolverine series and is fully backward compatible with Wolverine filters.

The KW Revolution filter is made of shock- and water-resistant optical glass, is durable and easy to clean, and does not cause discoloration.In addition to being magnetic, the filters also have a threaded front.This is one of the differences between the KW Revolution series and the previous Wolverine series.

This kit includes both the standard magnetic adapter and the magnetic adapter supported by the KW Revolution series.The standard screws onto your lens and allows you to attach the filter to it magnetically.But inlaid adapters work a little differently.It fixes to your lens in a very concave way.It screws onto the front filter threads very close to the front lens element and is almost hidden in the threaded area of the filter.It leaves virtually no space between the lens and filter.This results in minimal vignetting with wide-angle lenses when you attach a filter.The filter attaches to the adapter magnetically.Up to four filters can be stacked in total, both from this KW Revolution series and from the previous Wolverine series, and the filters can be rotated freely.Please see more about the inlaid adapter below.

Once the KW Revolution filter (or backward compatible Wolverine filter) is removed from the inlay adapter, you can leave the adapter on the lens.It will not affect the attachment of the original lens cap to the front of your lens.Likewise, it will not affect screwing conventional filters onto the lens' filter threads.

In addition to being fixed directly to the lens, the mosaic adapter can also be screwed onto the front thread of conventional screw-on filters.The screw-in filter can then be screwed onto your lens and the inlay adapter will sit in front of it.You can then magnetically attach the KW Revolution and Wolverine filters to the adapter.The benefit of this versatility is that it allows you to mount KW Revolution filters on top of conventional screw-on filters that you might want at the bottom of your stack.

Inlaid adapters are not compatible with step rings.

There are several ways to screw the ultra-thin laminated adapter.The main way is to first attach it magnetically to one of the included ND filters, then screw both on by hand.You can then remove the filter or stack additional filters on top of it.You can also attach the optional Kase magnetic lens hood.
